College Sort began with a parent’s frustration: navigating college search with his sons, our founder found plenty of information and tasks, but no clear framework for evaluating which colleges made sense for each student.

Working with a neuroscientist and technology founder, he developed Sort to connect insight about the student with the realities of college life—helping students and counselors examine meaningful differences, weigh trade-offs and make informed choices.
